Rami Levin is an accomplished composer and educator. She earned her B.A. from Yale University, her M.A. in composition from the University of California, San Diego, and her Ph.D. in composition from the University of Chicago.
Levin has composed a wide range of works for orchestra, chorus, chamber ensembles, and solo instruments, which have been performed and recorded internationally. She has received many commissions and awards throughout her career.

Asked why she brought this team of incredible artists together for this album, Rami explained, “At this stage in my career it seems appropriate to look back and reflect on my past work. The goal of this album is to disseminate definitive interpretations of some of my chamber music, recorded by superb musicians, many of whom I have had the pleasure of working with over the years.”
